If you have been dieting, exercising, and no matter what you do you simply cannot lose weight you may be experiencing a condition called “metabolic adaptation.” A hormone disorder that turns off fat burning as a survival mechanism usually in response to under eating or over exercising.
You see the body is programmed to thrive or survive… when thriving our hormones act normally, when pushed too far hormones shut off all non-essential systems, including the ability to burn fat.
