How patients move through this clinic
Five steps. Stop wherever it fits.
You don’t have to commit to the whole journey. Most people start at step 1 or 2 and decide whether the next step is worth it based on what they learn. Honest measurement first — then we decide together what’s needed.

SCAN
Start with a scan
$45 · ~10 min visit
A 30-second InBody scan with your numbers explained on the spot. You leave knowing where you stand — and whether deeper measurement is worth it.

THE BASELINE
Comprehensive Assessment
$195 · ~40 min
InBody + resting metabolic rate, read together by Dr Jared. You leave with a written report — and a clear answer on whether a full workup would tell us more.
BLUEPRINT
Metabolic Blueprint
Full workup · 2 visits · consult first
A consult, then labs: blood draw at a Labcorp near you; gut, hormone, and intestinal-permeability kits mail in from home. Results upload as they land, and it ends with a 60-minute Lab Review. Labs and review included in one price.
ACT
Choose Reset or Self-Guided
Two ways to continue
Execute on what the Blueprint surfaced. The Reset is a six-month program with phased implementation and planned re-testing; Self-Guided lets you proceed independently. Guided support with weekly check-ins in month one, then every other week (the Reset), or self-directed with follow-ups booked à la carte (Self-Guided).
MAINTAIN
Quarterly re-checks
à la carte · ongoing
Re-measure what matters. Adjust the plan as your body responds. Stay ahead of drift.
Most metabolic problems aren’t mysteries. They’re unmeasured.
Symptoms are usually the last thing to show up — the part you feel. The shifts that caused them have been measurable for months or years before that. Our job is to find them, sequence them in the order they matter, and walk you through what to do. That’s what the method below is for.
Why a method matters.
Most health advice is darts thrown blindfolded — swap the diet, add the supplement, hope. We take the blindfold off first: measure what’s actually happening inside, then aim. It’s a lot easier to hit the target when you can see the board.
Here’s the Metabolic Blueprint Method — and the three things that set it apart from one-off advice.
The same loop runs inside every step of the ladder — from a first scan to the full Reset.
Measurement first.
We don’t start with a guess. We start with InBody body composition, resting metabolic rate, and the specific lab panels your case calls for — read against optimal-function ranges, not just “not diseased.” The numbers come before the protocol — not the other way around.
Pattern recognition, not symptom-chasing.
Your gut, your hormones, your sleep, and your blood sugar move together. We look at how the systems are talking to each other — and treat the root, not the loudest complaint.
Sequenced, not piled on.
You won’t leave with a bag of 30 supplements and instructions to take them all forever. We sequence what to address first, what to retest, and when to adjust. Phases, not pile-ons.
What clarity actually looks like.
The report is the receipt. What you actually leave with is a clear answer — what’s wrong, what matters first — and, if you go on to the Reset or Self-Guided, a clinician walking you through the fix.
Who we tend to see.
Tends to work for:
- ✓ People whose labs say “normal” but whose body says otherwise
- ✓ People who’ve been trying everything without clear results
- ✓ People who want to understand why, not just what to take
- ✓ People comfortable with a methodical approach (not a quick fix)
- ✓ People who want a written record they can keep
- ✓ People with nothing “wrong” who want a measured baseline and clear priorities to optimize against
May not be the right time:
- · Acute illness requiring immediate medical care
- · Looking for a single supplement recommendation without the full picture
- · Looking for fast weight loss without understanding the cause
- · Not ready to invest in the full workup yet
Not the right budget today? The $195 Comprehensive Assessment is a solid first step — real numbers, no commitment to the full workup.
Whatever brought you in, the method’s the same.
The five steps don’t change — but if you want to read how they apply to your situation:
Nothing “wrong” — just want your numbers? Start with a scan or measure your metabolic rate.
Things people ask.
How long does this take?
From your first scan to a finished Blueprint is typically 2-4 weeks, depending on which lab panels we order and how fast they come back. A Lab Review appointment runs about an hour.
How is this different from my primary care doctor’s labs?
Different scope, different interpretation. Most primary care labs check whether you’re sick. We check how your systems are running — including markers most insurance-driven labs don’t order, and using ranges tuned to optimal function, not just “not diseased.”
What if I don’t want the full 6-month program after my Blueprint?
Then it’s Self-Guided: you receive the Blueprint and decide what to book next. Follow-ups and retesting are separate, à-la-carte services; a follow-up can be booked around 12–16 weeks.
What if my labs come back unremarkable?
You still get a sit-down with Dr Jared to point you at the next best step — different testing if something real is still unexplained, or a different provider if that’s the honest answer. You won’t be left holding a stack of “normal” results with no direction.
Pick your first step.
“Dr. Jared helped me get to the real cause of these issues. His evidence-based approach is thorough and individualized — no cookie-cutter plans at Twin Cities Metabolism. I am continually impressed with the clear communication and attention to detail from the entire team.”
