Purchasing does not book your appointment — you schedule your included 30-minute Lab Review yourself, for a date at least 7 days after your blood draw.
Metabolic Snapshot — the facts
- What it is: a fixed 31-test laboratory panel — advanced bloodwork plus a complete urinalysis — read as one picture rather than marker by marker.
- Price: $595.
- What you get: a written report you keep, plus a 30-minute Lab Review with Dr Jared to walk through it together.
- Timing: your results are reviewed with you about 7 days after your blood draw.
- What it does not include: it does not measure your resting metabolic rate or your body composition. Those are measured separately, in person.
- Access: open to the public. No referral required. Book online.
- Lab draw: at LabCorp patient service centers nationwide. We send the requisition; you pick the location and time.
What you get
- The panel: a fixed 31-test laboratory panel (advanced bloodwork plus a complete urinalysis) — the same set for every patient, chosen to surface metabolic patterns standard annual bloodwork isn’t built to show.
- The draw: through LabCorp locations nationwide, so you can complete it wherever you live.
- The report: a written interpretation prepared by Dr Jared — what the patterns are, which matter most, and what to do next. Yours to keep.
- The Lab Review: a 30-minute visit with Dr Jared — in person or by video — to walk through the report and your questions.
What the panel measures

This is what the panel measures — not a diagnosis. Dr Jared interprets the results together and explains what they point to in your written report and Lab Review.
How it works
- Start your Snapshot. Give us your contact details, then complete the $595 purchase. No pre-purchase consultation is required.
- Complete your intake. We email a brief intake form — address, date of birth, and a short health history — and use it to prepare your LabCorp requisition.
- Complete your draw at the LabCorp location that suits you.
- We prepare your report. Dr Jared reviews the full panel and writes your interpretation.
- You book your Lab Review. Schedule your included 30-minute Lab Review for a date at least 7 days after your blood draw — results take about a week to return, and your written report is prepared from them before the review.
Purchasing the Metabolic Snapshot does not book your Lab Review — you schedule it yourself. Choose a date at least 7 days after your blood draw so your results and report are ready.
Is this the right starting point?
The question the Snapshot answers: “What patterns show up in my bloodwork?”
The Metabolic Snapshot is designed for blood-based metabolic evaluation. Choose the Gut Snapshot at $725 when the question is specifically digestive — it tests gut DNA and the gut barrier, neither of which the Snapshot includes. Choose the Metabolic Blueprint at $1,345 when digestive symptoms are part of a broader multisystem picture that needs gut testing, hormone metabolites and bloodwork read together. This does not include body-composition or resting-metabolism testing.
The Snapshot does not include an InBody scan, RMR testing, gut testing (GI-MAP), hormone-metabolite testing (DUTCH), or intestinal-permeability testing, and it is not a treatment program. It is a standalone evaluation — nothing about it requires a next purchase.
Common questions
Do I need a consultation first?
No. The Snapshot is designed to be purchased directly.
Where do I get my blood drawn?
At a LabCorp patient service center. We send the requisition; you pick the location and time that suit you.
How is this different from the Metabolic Blueprint?
They answer different kinds of question. The Snapshot evaluates bloodwork. The Blueprint investigates patterns that need testing beyond blood — hormone metabolites, gut DNA, gut barrier — read together across two visits.
When is my Lab Review?
Schedule it yourself for a date at least 7 days after your blood draw. Results take about a week to return, and your written report is prepared from them before the review.
